Funding Resources for Students

Foerderer Award for International Study
The Foerderer Award for International Study is available to students in good academic standing in JCBS, SKMC, JCHP, JCN, JCP and JCPH who wish to enhance their educational experience by studying outside the United States for a period not less than 3 weeks and not to exceed 10 weeks. Students interested in Spring Travel (November 1-May 30 of the current academic year) should apply by the October deadline. Students interested in Summer Travel (May 31-August 31 of the current academic year) should apply by the January deadline.  Applicants who miss deadlines will be ineligible for that cycle of funding. for To apply, click on "Programs" on the left hand menu.

IDSA Medical Scholars Program
Infectious Disease Society of American Education and Research Foundation offers summer scholarships to medical students in U.S. medical schools with mentorship by an IDSA member or fellow. The scholarship activity must focus on pediatric or adult infectious diseases and may involve either clinical or research activities.
